

Petros Chalkitis
Description
Petros is an Occupational Therapist with over 20 years of experience in the pediatric population. He has worked in sensory clinics and public schools throughout NYC, as well as provided home-based Early Intervention services. He specializes in working with children ages 2-12. He has worked closely with children on the autism spectrum, sensory processing disorders, ADHD as well as physically impaired children with muscular dystrophy, cerebral palsy and spina bifida.
Petros was one of the first OT’s to participate in a launch of the SEED program (sensory education exploration discovery) in the NYC Dept of Education in 2023. He believes that making each session fun and memorable, is crucial when working and trying to make connections with children.
Recently Petros has begun teaching seminars in Greece and Cyprus to help give back to OTs in Europe and give back to his culture and roots.
